Baggage Tag
The baggage tag is attached
to the handle of the suitcase at the airport. It shows in which aircraft the
suitcase has to be put and which path the suitcase takes. The final destination
is the 3-letter code on the tag.
TRIPCHILKIS example: You are flying from Milan via Rome to Bangkok. In this case you will find the abbreviations of the final destination airport Bangkok (BKK) and the flight number of the particular aircraft, which will alight in Bangkok, e.g. TG652, on your baggage tag. If you travel and use connecting flights, you should briefly check, if the baggage tag actually has the 3-letter code of the final destination airport and the particular flight number on it, before handing over the baggage! |
