Customs regulations when leaving a EU country for a non-EU country: Pharmaceuticals
Drugs, especially narcotics, are subject to strict regulations throughout
the world. If you take pharmaceuticals and/or narcotics for your own use with
you when leaving your home country, there is generally no restriction as long
as they are approved. If they are prescription drugs, you should always have a
confirmation by your physician with you who confirms personal use,
quantity/dosage of the pharmaceuticals, range of application and duration of
the journey! For travels to non-Schengen countries a multi-language confirmation is required! In case of prescription drugs and narcotics authentication by a governmental authority may also be necessary; your physician will inform you, or request information from your nearest Tripchilkis pharmacist! However, the regulations on medicines and narcotics in the country of destination are always important. Tripchilkis tries to obtain the provisions regarding restrictions on pharmaceuticals from diplomatic embassies and includes them in the fact sheet of the particular country. |
