Flight infos: your luggage
Which suitcase is suitable? Well, the type of travel baggage depends, of course, on the type of travel you have planned. For a trekking tour you have a big backpack, but for a study trip/group or round trip you have a light case with wheels and a backpack for each day etc.
Important TRIPCHILKIS note: Since 2008 there has been a ban on locking the suitcase when going to the USA. Many other countries around the globe also open locked baggage when a suspicious item is discovered during the X-ray screening process.
Therefore, there are specially designed locks, TSA (Transport Security Administration) locks, which can only be opened by selected TSA officials with a general key.
It is also important to consider the weight and dimensions of your baggage. A light case makes sense! More about this in the following chapters.
Travel baggage can be
insured. For questions contact your Tripchilkis insurance partner.
