Today you take your rent a car and you drive from Vancouver to Cariboo Country. The route is rather long, so start early in the morning and reach Williams Lake in the later afternoon hours. You reached the Cowboy Land🏇 now, where your adventure begins.
Williams Lake is a nice town in the Cariboo Country, where you will install for that night.

Tofino offers a lot of events and festivals during the summer months, so watch out for some evening activities.
Things to do at Tofino
Today you will explore the Hot Springs cove at Maquinna Provincial Park🚤🚁, 27 nautical miles northwest of Tofino. The TRIPCHILKIS HINT: Canadian’s would reach the park by boat (about 1,5 hour boat ride) and then fly back to Tofino within 20 minutes – the Canadians call that a Sea to Sky Trip and the TRIPCHILKIS would recommend so. (and book in advance!)
From your arrival point you will have a 30 minutes hike to the springs. Enjoy the feeling and the view – it is really marvelous. Then make some picnic and simply enjoy the landscape. Maybe you are lucky and you will have also some wildlife experiences.
Return to Tofino and end the day in a chilly restaurant.
Things to do at Pacific Rim National Park🌅
The TRIPCHILKIS suggest to hike the Nuu-chah-nulth Trail today, the longest path through the Pacific Rim National Park. The path begins at the South Beach Trail and leads through rainforest and wooden boardwalks towards Florence Beach.🥾

The decoration of the gardens is so lovely, you will never imagine that creations with plants.
In the evening hours reach Victoria downtown and chill out in one of the Brewpubs🍻, as Victoria has a long brew history and very high brew scene with talented brewmasters.
